2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid, Price, MPG, & Release Date. Gone stand the exciting days of Kia, since they have now revealed the new 2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid, which looks as promising as they come. Though not all technical details have been released yet, a majority of the exemplary design and performance features are already out.
The impatience is overweighing, where all crossover fans simply can’t wait to get behind its wheel. Here is what’s available so far about this first-generation model with a powertrain:
Infotainment System
Just like the Telluride, this crossover comes a 10.3″ wide touchscreen that combines both information delivery and entertainment to increase the drivers’ and passengers’ experience, and to supplement this is the standard 8″ touchscreen compatible with iOS and Android devices.
Safety Feature
Safety has not been taken lightly by the All About the Anticipated 2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid. Is the adaptive cruise control with stop and-go-function, surround-view monitor, collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot view monitor. As additional equipment and features, all meant to improve performance thereby increase safety as much as possible. This makes it the perfect family car to say the least.
Interior
Unlike the outgoing version, the cabin of this vehicle is closer to the engine, thanks to an extra inch between the wheels, which creates a feeling of being spacious.
Presumably, the 7seater version will have a shorter third row, best suited for younglings. And with the three rows in place, it should offer 11.3 cubic feet of cargo space. This is, of course, smaller than before but considering it allows for more legroom in the second row as well as more headroom in the car, it is accepted gracefully!
Apart from the screens mentioned before, the dashboard has the previous version’s controls. The terrain select knob, a rotary gear selector unlike the Telluride’s tall handle. Has some accent lights placed next to speakers and door handles to add an element of coziness.
Exterior
Unlike the dowdier minivan shapes from previous years, the car has a sleek creased hood, and the lower bumper at the front has many right angles. It also has thin LED headlights and sharper nose. Bearing a lot of similarity with the New Seltos at the front while challenging the Toyota highlander for a big chin. On the sides, apart from a subtle difference of a fin-like tab near the rear window. It resembles the previous versions.
Engine Specifications
As hinted, this 2023 Kia Sorento Hybrid is the 1st generation model to have an electrified powertrain called a smart-stream. Not only does it come with a 1.6-liter (1,598 ccs), 4-cylinder in-line, turbo petrol engine. It also comes with a lithium-ion polymer battery pack and an electric motor which yield 1.49-kWh and 44.2-kW respectively.

Europe residents can expect the car in the last trimester of 2020 while it may presumably take a few months to reach the U.S. So either towards the tail end of 2020 or the beginning of 2023. Price estimates are yet to be made, they are likely to range between $28,110 to $43,010 (destination fees included).
