2023 Mazda MX-30 Redesign, Price, and Release Date. The first Mazda’s’ electric SUV is coming to the market. Reportedly, the new 2023 Mazda MX-30 is in the final stage, and it will be introduced later this year. Electric motor, the upcoming SUV will also be offered with a plug-in hybrid variant. Like the CX-3 and CX-30 crossovers, the MX-30 will be dimensionally the same.
Actually, it will feature more attractive styling and a best-in-class interior. Mazda reveals recently that MX-30 will come with a 35.5-kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a 144-hp front-mounted electric motor. Pre-orders have already started for European buyers, while for the United States should start this fall.

The all-new 2023 Mazda MX-30 will come with an electric motor that should deliver 144-hp with front wheels. However, we are not yet surly if the manufacturer will offer all-wheel drive optional. MX-30 also comes with a 35.5-kWh battery that is estimated to deliver around 100 miles per charge. However, according to latest news, the much stronger battery capacity should be available in United State version.
Compared with models Chevrolet Bolt EV and the Kona Electric, figures are less than half. The battery can be charged via standard AC power and faster DC chargers. This engine, Mazda will also offer a plug-in model that’ll pair an electric motor with a rotary gasoline unit.
2023 Mazda MX-30 First Look
It’s the same 173 inches long as the company’s CX-30, the new 2023 Mazda MX-30 divvies up somewhat differently. While the CX-30 features a smoother design, the MX-30 looks like a fastback, with more rugged styling.
The upcoming crossover also comes with a sloping roof and the rear-hinged, resulting in a more sporty profile. Interestingly, the MX-30 sits on the modified CX-30 platform that can host a battery under the floor. Overall, the side profile and the rear are almost the same as on the CX-30. However, the MX-30 possesses more attractive wheels, and taillights graphics are much visually better.
Cabin Details
While many details are yet to be revealed, the new 2023 Mazda MX-30 features a similar cabin as the CX-30 model. This small crossover looks practical and modern at the same time, offering plenty of new technology. Actually, like the CX-30, the new crossover comes with the same seating arrangement. It features two rows of seats and enough room for five passengers.
Distinctive styling is present inside, and the RX-8 model mainly inspires this crossover. The new MX-30 comes with exciting materials and rear-hinged doors such as cork found on the dashboard. Following in some of Mazda’s other models, the MX-30 has an attractive 7.0-inch screen, used as a touchscreen for climate controls only, while atop of dash is another touchscreen.
