2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Concept, Redesign, Specs, Price. There is a Ford Ranger Raptor complete with a V8 engine allegedly in the works. While the diesel variant wasn’t planned for release in the United States. The V8 model can meet the emissions standards set forth by the country. Essentially, this model is expected to be a down-scaled version of the F-150 Raptor.
It will feature the same boxed ladder frame as the regular Raptor that is currently on the market, but it will feature better and longer-travel suspension to allow for even better off-road performance. 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Engine Specs
This is the biggest question mark we have going into the Ranger Raptor release. There is so much misinformation surrounding this model. Likewise, in other markets, we see Ford powering this truck with different engines.
What we do know is that Ford is placing an underpowered diesel 4-cylinder engine into this model for International variants. This type of model would likely never see the light of day in the U.S nor North American markets as a whole. It is likely to feature a V8 engine shoehorned into the Ranger’s engine bay. This engine would be a 5.0-liter V-8 which would likely put the performance of this vehicle near or exceeding the current full-size F150 Raptor that features 450 horsepower.

There are only really two questions that remain. One, would Ford green-light production, and would they be selling it outside of Australia? Because they went to such lengths to get a V8 engine into the variant. It is highly likely they are getting it geared for a full release across the North American markets.
New Features
Ford is expected to really change things from its regular counterpart in the feature department. While it’s is likely to feature the same materials in the cabin, you can expect a lot of feature improvements and additions. The new 2023 Ranger Raptor will likely feature state of the art dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, heated seats in the front. A large touchscreen display with Ford’s Sync 4 infotainment software pre-installed, and more.
Ford is also expected to introduce its driver-assistance technology in the newer Ranger Raptor model and cram in a range of different safety and assistance features including lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring.

If this model does make it’s way to North America. The model is expected to go on sale next year and it will likely be priced around $50,000. After all, the current pricing of the competition that it would be faced with sits around a $45,000 average.
Because it is likely they will be shoehorning such a powerful V8 engine. We can expect it to be sold at a higher price point than what it will be debuting at Internationally.
