Generally, the current Cadillac Escalade has been on sale for a year, providing unmatched presence, attractive styling, and an interior that can match other rivals in the same segment.
However, compared to the regular model, the Escalade V version will bring many noticeable improvements. Of all, it features a more revised and attractive front fascia followed by a quartet of square-shaped exhaust tips. The exhaust tips on the latest Cadillac’s CT4-V and CT5-V sport sedans also feature the same square shape. In addition, some rumors point that the upcoming version will be available with a 650-hp 6.2-liter V-8 or a 277-hp 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6.

Under the hood, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V will most likely use some of the existing engines. Generally, some rumors reveal that buyers should have two options to choose from. The first powertrain is a 6.2-liter V-8 capable of delivering 640 hp and 650 lb.-ft of torque.
The other one optional is a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6 that makes 277-hp. As you can see, both powertrains offer adequate performance, but neither of them is yet EPA rated. However, the manufacturer didn’t clarify what transmission will be used.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade V prototype has been caught recently heavily camouflaged. Reportedly, the manufacturer is also working on the ESV version, which should be introduced at the same point this year as the Escalade V.
