2023 Audi Q5 Under the Hood
The new 2023 Audi Q5 will continue to use a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder mild-hybrid system that can make 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. Like the last time, this engine is paired to a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
If this engine is not powerful for you, the SQ5 offers a more potent 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged that makes 349 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. As the first engine, this one also uses an all-wheel drive as standard but is connected with an eight-speed traditional automatic.
PHEV Version
The plug-in hybrid powertrain is available as well, but only on the regular Q5. This engine also uses a 2.0-liter turbo-4 that is supplemented by a battery-fed electric motor. The whole system generates 362 horsepower and is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission using an AWD.
